SO its been a while lots of stuff has happened but now that its over it doesnt seem important. isnt it weird what we find important and when we find it so. yeah so anyway
i sent chris his apple juice i really hope customs doest open it cuz its whisky and im not sure that you are allowed to send alcohol in the mail and i know he cant receive it SO yeah im a little worried about it
i got my new climbing shoes they are awesome and i might get to go on geojourney as staff! i talked to joe and he actually considered it right away and told me to come back and talk to him. so i did and he and nikki said that they would love to have me on the trip! how awesome would that be. i wont know for sure until the end of feb but they said that basically as long as a geology grad student dosent want to go as a cook then i will be head cook and i will have an assistant. how sweet would that be. im a little worried because its a lot of resposibility and i tend to shy away from responsibilty but joe would definitely help me realize all expectations he had of me. hes really good at motivating me. and maybe if i prove to myself that i can handle the responsibility then i wont fear it any longer.
anyway i dont know what i want to do about school anymore but i suppose it will figure its self out
i feel as tho i am wasting my parents money on worthless classes when there is a lot i need to learn but cant learn here in ohio
i need my wilderness first responder, ropes certification, and some damn experience in the field. id like to get wilderness emt, and deep water rescue for scuba but that will have to wait i guess. wilderness emt takes a long time to get the class is like a semester long. we will find out if ill be leaving the country this summer next weekend but well discuss that when it happens.

kay thats enough for now
later yall

You'll figure things out, Ian. And I'm so glad about the Geojourney job!!!!!!!!! That's going to be a blast, and you'll do fine with the responsibility. The thing is....you care about it, and you care about the quality of work you do when you care about the actually work, know what I mean? So, you'll be just fine. :) And Joe wouldn't have given you the job if he didn't know you could do it and do it well.

And thanks for visiting me this weekend. It was lovely to get to see both you and Hannah, even though it wasn't very long. I've listened to both CDs, and The Student Loan hasn't left my CD player in my car yet. :) I love it. *hug* Please give Hannah a big hug from me, too, and tell her it was so nice to see her again and thanks for taking time out to come visit me as well.

Love you both!
